Rayan Cherki is still wanted by Lazio even after Olympique Lyonnais offered Fulham a €15 million plus €5 million incentive, but the player declined. The versatile attacker, whose contract with Lyon ends at the end of this season, has been ordered to find a new club. He can play on the left flank, behind the strikers, or both.
Sky Sports said today that Lyon had accepted Fulham's offer, which was for €15 million with an additional €5 million in add-ons. But soon after, reports from Footmercato, RMC Sport, and other French outlets stated that Cherki had declined the transfer because he did not want to play for Fulham. He allegedly declined to even meet with them to talk about personal terms. This gives Lazio the opportunity to submit a bid before the transfer window closes. The 21-year-old France international is reportedly connected to Borussia Dortmund as well.
