Mikel Arteta gives an update on Arsenal squad before West Ham match

Mikel Arteta gave an injury update before the Premier League match against West Ham, saying that Arsenal will have to "wait and see" on Gabriel Magalhaes' health. In an attempt to capitalize on their 2-0 victory against Newcastle United this week, the Hammers will play Arsenal on Saturday, November 30. Gabriel's injury sustained during Arsenal's thumping of Sporting CP in the Champions League midweek may make the difficult challenge of playing the Gunners a little less intimidating.

Lopetegui's future at the London Stadium was temporarily assured by West Ham's triumph earlier in the week, but much work remains before people can be persuaded that he is the one who can lead the team to success. But, because of Mikel’s cryptic remarks, the Hammers will have to brace themselves for both scenarios and hope that Gabriel is not selected.
