Napoli have eyes on Southampton to bolster defence

'Corriere dello Sport', reports that Napoli want to bolster their defence and there are two Southampton players who are well liked by the Italians.

They are Salisu and Bednarek. The former played at Valladolid in Spain and he played very well before moving to the Saints for 10 million pounds.

This season, he has made 26 Premier League appearances and his performances are still consistent. The powerful Ghanainan defender is 22 years old and his contract runs until 30th June 2024.

Bednarek is other player who is well liked by Napoli. The 25 year-old Pole has a contract until 2025 and he moved to England in 2017 for around six million euros. He is an indisputable starter for his club and Napoli have him very much in mind because of his versatility in defence.
