Newcastle United triumphed in their battle with Crystal Palace

Joelinton and Callum Wilson were impressive in their performance for Newcastle United who was successful in grabbing the much-needed three points by defeating Crystal Palace by 2-0. The match helped some unsung heroes shine for Newcastle while Karl Darlow helped Newcastle grab yet another win the real hero of the night was Ciaran Clark.

Despite the injury and the fact that this was his second game since the comeback, he displayed his form in all its glory to make sure Steve Bruce knows he made the right call by keeping him. Ironically, he was about to join the Opponents in 2019 but thankfully for Newcastle the deal fell through.

Clark made a comeback this season against Chelsea and now played against Palace to grab the three points at Selhurst Park. Callum Wilson and Joelinton’s late goal helped Newcastle climb to 10th place.
