PSG set to smash records for Lamine Yamal

Rumors about PSG's obsession with Barcelona's golden boy, Lamine Yamal, are growing louder by the day. It is said that the Parisian giants are preparing to throw a huge sum of money at the young star in the hope of luring him away from Camp Nou.

Now for the real sensation. Sources close to the deal claim that PSG are determined to sign Lamine Yamal next summer. Reports suggest the European champions are preparing a staggering €230m bid for the Spanish sensation. If it happens, that figure would eclipse the €222m they paid for Neymar in 2017, making Yamal the most expensive player in football history.

But here's the catch: €230m may seem like a fortune, but it's nothing compared to Yamal's release clause. When he signed a contract extension last spring, keeping him at the club until 2031, Barcelona set a staggering €1bn price tag for him.
