Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic further cemented his name in the history of Italian football on Saturday by becoming the oldest player ever to score a goal in matches counting for Serie A.
The striker scored a goal in the 27th matchday, between Udinese and AC Milan, aged 41 years and 166 days, 'dethroning' the 'eternal' Alessandro Costacurta, who had held this record since May 2007, when he earned it at 41 years and 25 days.
The move took place in the last moments of the first half, at the Stadio Friuli, when the Rossoneri team were at a disadvantage on the scoreboard, as a result of a goal signed by Roberto Pereyra, just in the ninth minute of the game.
The 'veteran' wasted a penalty, but, after referee Daniele Doveri ordered a replay, he was no longer forgiving, and even threw the ball into the back of the net.
