A big injury blow to Atletico Madrid before the Reds match

Five main players have been ruled out for Atletico Madrid’s clash with Liverpool in the Champions League fixture. Diego Simeone confirmed the news about the unavailability of the five key players at the pre-match presser. Antoine Griezmann would not be available for the match because of the red card because of his challenge on Bobby Firmino. Others on the list were Geoffrey Kondogbia, Thomas Lemar, Stefan Savic, and Marcos Llorente who have been ruled out due to injury.

Liverpool has the same level of problems with James Milner and Naby Keita has been ruled out due to injury. Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara though would be making a comeback as they return to active training. In Group B Liverpool is at the top of the table with 9 points while Madrid is running second with 4 points.
