AC Milan and Torino have agreed to a deal of €25 million, including bonuses, for midfielder Samuele Ricci. Torino and Milan reached a deal on Saturday after negotiations for Ricci had been going on since January.
Ricci will commit to the San Siro for five years. Before the transfer is made public, there will be a medical examination and further documentation. The 23-year-old, who joined Torino in 2022, was a staple last season. Ricci has ten caps for Italy internationally. Since he played for Empoli, Ricci has been a target for Milan for a very long time, and in recent months, there have been rumors that it was just a matter of time. However, there are additional advantages to this signing. Milan's absence of a suitable defensive midfield player was made painfully evident during the 2024–25 campaign.
