As the transfer window closes, AC Milan has once again been linked to a deal for Dodi Lukebakio, a forward for Sevilla. Lukebakio is still one of the players Sevilla has identified as a possible sale candidate in an effort to improve their precarious financial status, according to Diario AS. The winger has received offers that his club would have accepted, but he declined them. During the winter transfer window, Al Qadisiah coveted him and was prepared to pay Lukebakio's €45 million release clause. His usual exit price is €40 million, but it goes up by €5 million in the last few days of every transfer window, which is what is happening right now.
The Brussels native didn’t want to leave, even though, in addition to a beautiful salary, he would have received another substantial percentage of the transfer fee: 10 percent, no less. When he moved from Hertha Berlin to Sevilla two summers ago, they came to that understanding.
