AC Milan looked set to land Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen, but the move collapsed at the last moment after the Nigerian striker failed his medical. The Rossoneri have wasted no time lining up an alternative, reaching an agreement with Sporting CP for Danish forward Conrad Harder, reports calciomercato.com. The deal is worth €24 million plus €3 million in bonuses, along with a 10 percent sell-on clause for the Portuguese champions. Born in 2005, Harder is expected to sign a contract until 2030. Rennes were also interested, but Milan acted quickly to secure his signature.
Harder impressed in his debut season at Sporting, mostly as an impact substitute. Despite playing just 738 league minutes, he registered 10 goal contributions and showed promise as cover for Viktor Gyökeres. Milan believe the 19-year-old could soon blossom into a star.
