AC Milan overcame a two-goal deficit to tie Torino 2-2

In the exciting opening game of the Serie A season, AC Milan overcame a two-goal deficit to tie Torino 2-2 at San Siro. Milan tried to show their superiority early in the first half, but Torino took the lead. The first goal came about after a strange incident in the thirtieth minute. After Raoul Bellanova's header struck the post, Milan's Malick Thiaw, trying to clear the ball off the line, unintentionally redirected the rebound into his own net. The home audience was taken aback by this goal, which gave Torino an unexpected lead.

Milan answered quickly, setting up many opportunities but missing the mark. In the 68th minute, Torino increased their advantage. With a close-range header, Duvan Zapata placed Milan in a challenging situation at 2-0. Milan's breakthrough came in the 89th minute. With a powerful drive from Tijjani Reijnders that was deflected by Morata, the score was now 2-1. Later, a ten-yard volley by Noah Okafor sent the San Siro crowd into a frenzy and the score was 2-2 in the end.
