According to a source, AC Milan will move on with their plans to sign Daichi Kamada on a free transfer, although they may later alter their recruitment strategy and pursue new targets. Following the decision to split ways with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, the Rossoneri must act swiftly, as has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Pianeta Milan).
The first target through the door was supposed to be Kamada, but Maldini and Massara have been working on various targets. The club will probably continue to pursue the acquisition of the former Eintracht Frankfurt offensive midfielder. After that, though, a tonne of other names may suddenly become associated with the team as they begin to pursue new targets who conform to a new style of thinking. Milan is now a very difficult squad to evaluate during the transfer window.
