AFC Bournemouth had their eyes set on Neto, the goalkeeper from Barcelona. Well, it seems the deal is almost sealed but the player needs to complete his medical before he signs his one-year term with his new side. The 33-year-old kick-started his career in Brazil with Athletico Paranaense before he shifted to Fiorentina in 2011. He had made 72 appearances in Serie A before he was transferred to Juventus in 2015.
Further, in the year 2017, he switched to La Liga with Valencia in a deal that was worth €7 million. He managed to appear in 67 La Liga matches and he became the first-choice goalkeeper for his side across 2 seasons. He was improving with his performance and that had impressed many teams in Spain. In 2019, he joined hands with Barcelona for a deal worth €26million plus € 9 million in add-ons.
