Manchester City achieved a significant victory against their counterpart Al Ain with a score of 6-0, in the second round of the group stage of the Club World Cup.
City raised its tally to 6 points in second place and qualified for the Round of 16 alongside Juventus, while Al Ain exited the tournament without any points, along with Wydad.
City took the lead through Ilkay Gundogan in the 9th minute, then Claudio Echeverri scored the second goal in the 27th minute, and Erling Haaland added the third goal from a penalty in the 45+5 minute.
In the 73rd minute, Ilkay Gundogan scored the fourth goal, while Oscar Bob netted the fifth goal in the 84th minute, and Ryan Cherki added the sixth goal in the 89th minute.
