Alexis Saelemaekers has been one of AS Roma's main targets

In recent weeks, Alexis Saelemaekers has been one of AS Roma's main targets, and negotiations for the Belgian have started with AC Milan. Paulo Fonseca debated whether to send Saelemaekers on loan in the summer, but in the end, it was determined that leaving Milan was the best course of action for everyone, particularly because the Rossoneri had signed Tammy Abraham on loan. Sadly, even though Saelemaekers missed a significant portion of the season, the Giallorossi have likely gotten the better bargain thus far.

The Belgian has been excellent for the Roman team since he recovered from his injury and has made several crucial decisions, such as in the Derby della Capitale. Because of this, there has been a lot of interest in extending his loan period.
