In recent weeks, Alexis Saelemaekers has been one of AS Roma's main targets, and negotiations for the Belgian have started with AC Milan. Paulo Fonseca debated whether to send Saelemaekers on loan in the summer, but in the end, it was determined that leaving Milan was the best course of action for everyone, particularly because the Rossoneri had signed Tammy Abraham on loan.
