'Angry' Jesse Lingard feels 'disrespected' by Manchester United

Newcastle have reportedly made a £6m loan offer to sign Lingard for the rest of the season, but United have yet to respond as they consider loaning another first-team player following Anthony Martial's move to Sevilla.

Magpies boss Eddie Howe is targeting Lingard with his Newcastle team just 18th in the Premier League, three points from the bottom of the table and one point from safety.

Although Lingard has fallen through the ranks at Old Trafford, starting just two games in all competitions this season, he has flourished while on loan at West Ham last season and Newcastle will expect similar results if they secure his signing before the transfer window closes. January. .

Lingard has been with Manchester United for more than two decades but is keen to move to Newcastle to revive his career and return to contention for an England call-up.
