Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo is experiencing an unusual period with FC Barcelona, as he accepts his current role under coach Hans Flick, but at the same time, he aspires to get more playing minutes in the upcoming matches.
The newspaper clarified that Araujo's last match as a starter was against Sevilla before the international break, which Barcelona lost 4-1. After that, Flick decided to rely on the duo Koundé and Eric Garcia in central defense, which led to Araujo sitting on the bench for three consecutive matches against Girona, Olympiacos, and Real Madrid.
