The Uruguayan centre-back put an end to rumours about his future by admitting that he will not be leaving because he is very happy. Barcelona ended their Asian tour with a resounding victory over Daegu. In that match, Ronald Araujo started and played the first 45 minutes. He then went to the press room to give his assessment of the game.
The Uruguayan did not hesitate to put an end to rumours about his future: “Of course I'm going to stay. For sure. I'm very happy in Barcelona. You haven't seen the best Ronald yet, and that's what's coming in the next few years.”
"I've felt very good in preseason. Last year, with the injury, it was very difficult for me, especially with the way we play, with the intensity that is required," he explained.
