Arsenal are reportedly up against potential transfer of Alisson Santana

The 18-year-old is making an impression in his home country of Brazil and appears to be the most recent in a long line of promising young players to come through the South American country and maybe catch the attention of elite teams in Europe. Santana is reportedly being pursued by a number of teams, including Arsenal and Newcastle, according to Globo Esporte. However, given that he has a contract that expires in 2027 and a €60 million release clause, he would not necessarily come cheap.

The teenager, who undoubtedly want to prove himself at the greatest level as quickly as possible, may find that Arsenal and Newcastle are appealing locations for him to go next. The young Brazilian player would still do well to make sure he chooses his next club carefully, as he will undoubtedly need to feel comfortable playing on a regular basis there.
