Arsenal injury update: Saka, Martinelli, and Havertz return timelines revealed

Manager Mikel Arteta is in urgent need of reinforcements as key players remain sidelined.

Bukayo Saka has been absent from the squad since suffering a hamstring tear in December. Initially expected to be out until March, excitement grew among fans last week when Arsenal shared images of Saka training in Dubai's gym.

Arsenal is focusing on a potential return for Saka during their Champions League clash in the last 16 on March 4 or 5, or their encounter with Manchester United on March 9.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli is facing a month on the sidelines after injuring his hamstring against Newcastle on February 5. Potential return date: March.

Kai Havertz suffered a hamstring tear while blocking a shot during training in Dubai, with Arsenal confirming that he will not return until next season. Potential return date: Beginning of the 2025-26 season.
