Arsenal left-back attracts bid by Serie A clubs, Lazio and Napoli

Lazio and Napoli are determined to bring back Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac to Serie A before the summer transfer window closes. Both the clubs have started a bidding war for the player ahead of the next season. Kolasinac served the last couple of months on loan with Bundesliga side, Schalke, and is looking forward to returning to the Emirates. The Bundesliga side was unfortunately relegated this season and could not put together enough funds to hold on to the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.

Kolasinac is not a part of Mikel Arteta’s plans and he is disappointed that Schalke could not make the move permanent. The defender though could be playing for the Serie A club as Gunners plan to overhaul the squad before the next season and need funds to make that a reality. Kolasinac earns £100,000-a-week and would be free to leave next summer when his contract expires.
