Arsenal win against Man United has silenced many of the remaining doubters

On Sunday, Eddie Nketiah scored the game-winning goal in the closing seconds of a thrilling contest at the Emirates, giving the home crowd renewed hope that this may be their year. After Manchester City earlier in the day cut the lead at the top of the league to just two points, the game versus United was considered as a crucial test for the Gunners. They rose to the task admirably, retaliating forcefully after losing Marcus Rashford's first goal and remaining composed after Lisandro Martinez cancelled out Bukayo Saka's goal in the second half.

At the halfway stage of the season, Arsenal, who have had their best-ever start to an English top-flight season, are five points ahead of the reigning champions City with one game remaining. Mikel Arteta, the head coach of Arsenal, exclaimed with a smile, "I don't believe it gets any better than that."
