AS Roma youngster arrested in Italy for drug trafficking

The Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport advances on Saturday that a young player trained at AS Roma was arrested in Italy for drug trafficking.
Aboudramane Diaby, 19, was arrested in Rome while driving his car. The player was in possession of 160 grams of hashish, two grams of cocaine and 60,000 euros in cash.
Diaby was heard in court on February 28, and was found guilty. He ended up under house arrest.
After starting his career at AS Roma, the Malian moved to Hellas Verona in 2020/21, on loan from the club in the Italian capital. The definitive change came the following season. Diaby is currently on loan at Serie C side Imolese.
