Aston Villa secured a surprise loan deal for Marco Asensio

The Spanish playmaker had an immediate effect after joining the Premier League. He has now made five appearances for Villa, and during their 2-1 triumph over Chelsea over the weekend, he stole the show with a game-winning brace.

Horacio Gaggioli, his former agent, recently discussed Asensio's start in England with Sportitalia. He said that the 28-year-old's impressive performances did not surprise him in the least, and he even gave Unai Emery advice on how to get the most out of the midfield player. Despite his bright start at Villa Park, Asensio’s future remains uncertain. There is no option for the club to extend his stay, meaning he’s set to return to PSG in the summer. However, Gaggioli believes his next move should be to Italy and has urged him to consider a switch to Serie A.
