Even though Giorgi Mamardashvili won't be sold in January, he is one that will probably draw attention for months to come. That cannot be true regarding Cristhian Mosquera, though, as La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Marca) reports that the Serie A team Atalanta is showing interest in him.
This season, Mosquera has made a name for himself as a vital member of Ruben Baraja's team. Since September, he has been a constant in central defence. He would be a huge loss for Valencia because of this, but Atalanta has an opportunity that they may take advantage of in the next few days by stepping up discussions. Valencia would want to hold onto Mosquera until the summer of next year, but if Atalanta does increase their interest, that option could not be available.
