Awoniyi scores for Union Berlin to win 2-1

Taiwo Awoniyi found the goal post once again during the match to score a second consecutive goal for Union Berlin to cruise to a win past Youssoufa Moukoko’s Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga match. Taiwo Awoniyi came to Bundesliga's side for a season-long loan from Liverpool and this was his eights appearance in the league for Iron Ones.

With a powerful assist from Grischa Proemel Awoniyi scored in the 57th minute for Union Berlin to put them ahead after the first half ended in a 0-0 draw. Youssoufa Moukoko later equalized the score with an assist from Raphael Guerreiro. Until Marvin Friedric fired a winning goal in the 78th minute to seal their win after a four-game winless run. Berlin is now fifth on the table with 21 points while Dortmund is fourth still with similar points.
