Amrabat is presently loaned to United by Fiorentina for the duration of the current season; the Reds have agreed to pay the Italian team €10 million for Amrabat's services. There have been rumors circulating that inquiries have been made regarding the Morocco international signing for a European club instead of returning to United on loan.
Barcelona and Juventus both inquired about Amrabat, but United refused to comply, according to Fabrizio Romano on YouTube. The last thing Erik ten Hag wanted in January was to lose a player who can play at left-back or central midfield without a backup.
