Andrei Rațiu, a star for Rayo Vallecano, is no longer a target for Barcelona's management. According to Mundo Deportivo, which on Tuesday offered a glimpse into the most recent happenings behind the scenes in the capital of Catalunya. Earlier this year, defender Raţiu's name was one of the most prominent ones in the news about Barcelona. This followed rumours that Deco and company had identified the Romanian international as a top priority in their quest for right-back reinforcements.
It was even speculated at one time that the Blaugrana were getting ready to make a summer offer for Raţiu. However, as previously said, if the most recent rumour from the Spanish media early this week is any indication, the Catalans' interest seems to have come to a stop.
