Barcelona brings fresh energy to the Champions League

FC Barcelona is now in the pivotal stage of the 2023–24 season, having completed more than half of the current campaign. With a chance to win both La Liga and the Champions League, the Catalans can aim to take home the two big trophies this season.

The squad's performance in the latter competition has undoubtedly improved, as Xavi guided his side to the Champions League knockout stages after the Blaugranes were unable to go past the group stage in the previous two editions of the elite European competition. Barcelona is currently looking forward to their Round of 16 matchup with Napoli. In preparation for the second round of this tournament, the club has made significant roster adjustments and recruited Vitor Roque, Unai Hernandez, and Pau Victor. There are now 39 players on the squad overall.
