Barcelona completed the double signing of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix

On the last day of the previous summer transfer window, Barcelona secured Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix from Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, respectively. While these signings were initially celebrated, neither player had a standout season in Catalonia and both returned to their parent clubs this summer. Among the two, Cancelo appears more likely to return to Barcelona, particularly following the recent sale of Julian Araujo to Bournemouth.

According to the Sport, Cancelo is keen on rejoining Barcelona, despite interest from Juventus and Saudi Arabian clubs. Barcelona have made a loan offer worth €7 million for Cancelo, with a €20 million buy option. However, Manchester City insists on a permanent deal, making an agreement challenging at this stage. The clubs remain at an impasse, leaving Cancelo's return uncertain for now.
