Barcelona Eyes 2030 Deal for Kounde

In an effort to lock down several of their important players in the upcoming months, Barcelona is expected to continue their recent trend of contract extensions. Jules Kounde, who has apparently struck a principled agreement to stay with the club for the long run, may be the next in line. Most of the Blaugrana's main players' contracts that expire in 2026 have already been addressed, but they still need to finish talks with Frenkie de Jong. The fates of other players, including Pablo Torre, Andreas Christensen, Inaki Pena, and Eric Garcia, are also uncertain for this summer.

However Director of Football Deco has already started to look ahead to those with deals expiring in 2027 for new deals, and after talk that Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have fresh deals in the works too, Kounde has seemingly found a rough agreement on terms for a new deal until 2030 say Sport.
