Barcelona overcomes Levante in a thrilling match

In the closing minutes, Lamine Yamal set up the game-winning goal with a risky curler into the area. In La Liga play on Saturday, FC Barcelona pulled off an amazing comeback, defeating Levante 3-2 with an own goal in extra time. Barcelona never gave up on winning the game, even though they were behind by two goals at halftime. When Barca coach Hansi Flick substituted Gavi and Dani Olmo for Marcus Rashford and Marc Casado at halftime, the deficit would be short-lived as they immediately made an impact.

Ferran Torres equalized after Raphinha set him up, then Pedri opened the scoring with a stunning effort from outside the box. The first seven minutes of the second half saw both goals. After teenage sensation Lamine Yamal did precisely what he needed to do in the closing seconds of the game—deliver dangerous balls into the box and hope for the best—the winner came off the head of defender Unai Elgezabal.
