Barcelona to Rest Injured Yamal Until PSG Clash, Flick Relies on Attacking Depth

Due to an injury, Lamine Yamal will not play in Barcelona's upcoming Champions League match against Newcastle. He is also anticipated to miss Barcelona's La Liga games against Getafe and Real Ovideo, according to Mundo Deportivo. To make sure he is "100% fit" to play PSG in the Champions League on October 1st, Yamal is currently scheduled to return against Real Sociedad, but only as a substitute.

Barcelona is definitely not prepared to take any chances with the adolescent. According to the source, the club is aware that Yamal has a "difficult and treacherous injury" and that improper treatment could result in a devastating relapse. Yamal will be missed, but Flick still has plenty of firepower with Fermin Lopez, Raphinha, and Lewandowski all scoring twice against Valencia, plus options like Ferran Torres, Roony Bardghji, Dani Olmo, and youngster Toni Fernandez.
