Barcelona to sign a new deal with Héctor Fort

Authorities at Barcelona, one of the biggest teams in La Liga, are about to sign a new deal with one of the team's most highly valued young players. Mundo Deportivo claims that, identifying Héctor Fort as the concerned player. In the capital of Catalunya, full-back Fort, naturally, has had something of a breakthrough season.

Despite being slightly overshadowed by fellow celebrities Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí, the 17-year-old has impressed boss Xavi when given the opportunity. Over the course of the season, Fort has made nine appearances as a senior and has recorded three assists. For a considerable amount of time, the goalkeeper has demonstrated his versatility by being able to line up on either side of the back four. On the other hand, it was not shocking to read recent media reports that Barcelona management had begun to press for new terms with Fort.
