Bayern gets within one point of the title thanks to Dier and Sané

Bayern Munich easily defeated Mainz 3-0, but they had to postpone their title celebrations because Bayer Leverkusen equaled their victory, leaving them eight points behind with three games remaining. With a victory against RB Leipzig next week, the Bavarian team is now leading the Bundesliga with 75 points and ahead of Leverkusen in second place with 67. They can now win the German league for the 34th time. However, Harry Kane received his fifth booking and a ban, so he will miss the game next week.

After some excellent early work by Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané scored to put Bayern up in the 28th minute. Five minutes before halftime, Michael Olise's solo effort and incredible finish from a close angle gave Bayern the lead again. Before Eric Dier scored their third goal in the 84th minute, Sané twice struck the woodwork in the second half.
