Bayern Munich has focused a great deal on improving the defense

In Eric Dier, a seasoned centre defender, Bayern has added a target at right back. Nordi Mukiele of PSG is one of the players Bayern is aggressively chasing.

Alessandro Buongiorno, the centre defender for Torino, is reportedly the target of Bayern's pursuit to snatch him away from AC Milan, according to a recent report from FootMercato. For Torino the last two seasons, Buongiorno has been a rock at centre defence. The 24-year-old Italian's market worth (€22 million) has increased after he inked a five-year contract with Torino in the summer. Given that Torino is only in the middle of the table due to their strong defensive play, it doesn't seem probable that they would let Buongiorno depart in January unless they received an excessive offer. The only clubs with fewer goals than Torino are Empoli and Salernitana, which are in the relegation zone.
