Bayern Munich have confirmed the arrival of Raphael Guerreiro

Raphael Guerreiro is poised to follow in the footsteps of Mats Hummels, Mario Gotze, and Robert Lewandowski by switching the perennial bridesmaids for a Bayern team celebrating their tenth consecutive domestic title, less than a month after Borussia Dortmund choked on a dramatic final day and sent the Bundesliga trophy gift-wrapped back to Bavaria.  In recent months, Dean Jones and The Sun have linked the Portugal international to Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa.

Any aspirations that the recently relegated Leeds had of attracting Guerreiro to Elland Road were dashed by Tottenham's rampage there at the end of May. Meanwhile, Bayern has resumed their previous behaviour. An organisation with a reputation for stealing the assets of its competitors stole great players from Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, and Konrad Laimer was also on the way.
