Coming from what could be described as a historic performance at the Euros, the Welsh national team got several players to reach stardom status and call the attention of many good clubs in Europe. At 27-years old, Reading striker Hal Robson-Kanu managed to secure himself a one-way ticket to the Premier League for his amazing performance at the Euros with his country. Many clubs have asked for meetings with his agent and the club that seems the most invested in signing him is Hull City.
Manager Steve Bruce revealed that they will do what ever it takes to sign the striker from Reading, they have already scheduled meetings to see how the transfer would be completed. You can be certain that the goal he scored against Belgium, was more than enough for him to get looked at and most likely bought by any club in the Premier League. That movement which surprised everyone during a tipping moment in the game, was one of the most memorable moments of the tournament.
Bruce revealed the news to the BBC: "We are booked in for talks with him and to see him in the next few days. Do we intend to offer him a deal? Yes. I think Hal is a good age, has had a sort of rebirth if you like, of playing through the middle, because before that he has played wide most of the time. He is big, strong, powerful, quick and somebody who runs the other way, in football terms. I know we have got competition, so let's see what we can do."
