Over the past several days, Cabal has gained a lot of attention on the Serie A transfer market. It would seem that Inter is the team most interested in signing the Colombian. Cabal is viewed by the Nerazzurri as a solid alternative to bolster their defensive options.
This comes after Tajon Buchanan, a wingback, was hurt. The first several months of the upcoming season will be missed by the Canadian international. Additionally, Inter does not intend to sign a straight replacement for Buchanan while he is out. Instead, the Nerazzurri will slightly rearrange the pieces. Carlos Augusto, who spent a good deal of time playing on the left side of the back three the previous year, will mostly or only be a wingback. The adaptable Brazilian was initially supposed to be a defensive option for Inter. However, Augusto will be constrained on the side. So, a left-sided defender will be signed by the Nerazzurri in its place.
