According to stats site SofaScore, the on-loan AC Milan star completed 13 tackles throughout the 90 minutes, beating the previous record of 11 in the one game. Tweeting after the game, SofaScore wrote: "FUN FACT - Diego Laxalt has just become the first player since at least the start of 2015/16 to record 13 tackles in a single Europa League match - no other player recorded more than 11".
