Jackson has not featured for Chelsea since the club's 2-1 Premier League win over West Ham at the start of February after sustaining a hamstring injury. However, he is now back in training and expected to return to action following the international break. Chelsea confirmed on Wednesday that Jackson has been working out on the grass as he steps up his recovery from injury.
The news will be a huge boost to Enzo Maresca who has been hit hard by injuries in attack and see his team struggle for goals with Marc Guiu, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke also sidelined. Maresca has also seen Mykhailo Mudryk suspended from football in the wake of a positive drugs test, while Jadon Sancho has struggled for form and has not scored for Chelsea since December.
