Chelsea is reportedly seeking to recruit a new number one in order to improve their roster in preparation for the upcoming season, according to a report from 90min via Fichajes. Unai Simon, a goalkeeper for Athletic Club, has pleased the Blues so much that they may try to sign the 26-year-old during the next transfer window. Simon has advanced through the Athletic Club's divisions, and in the summer of 2018, he was called up to the first squad. Since then, the 26-year-old has improved greatly and is presently regarded as one of Spain's top goalkeepers.
Over the past several seasons, he has been a regular with the Spanish club, and his performances have garnered a lot of notice. He has played in 29 league games this season and has given up just 26 goals. In fifteen of those games, the Spanish international has maintained a spotless record.
