Chelsea is already willing to let go of a number of players

Chelsea is already willing to let go of a number of players who they signed under the previous ownership since they haven't worked out. Their defence has been one of the trouble spots. Levi Colwill is shown signs of improvement, while Marc Cucurella has emerged as a top left-back. When healthy, Reece James is amazing, yet he frequently suffers from injuries.

They don't have an answer for the other centre-back position. As Wesley Fofana continues to struggle with injuries, it may be time to let him go. However, Fofana is not the only player who has fallen short of expectations since joining Chelsea. The same is true of Axel Disasi. Disasi was anticipated to become Chelsea's defensive commander after joining from AS Monaco for a reported transfer price of over €45 million.
