Hansi Flick hasn't demonstrated much of a tendency to switch up his starting lineup every other week since joining FC Barcelona. But in order to keep his players fresh as the Blaugrana club enters this final stretch of the season, the German coach has often altered his preferred starting eleven. However, despite the demanding schedule—two games nearly every week—defender Jules Kounde has not demonstrated a special need for relaxation. Since the beginning of the season, the Frenchman has been a vital starter for Flick and has been performing admirably at right-back.
Naturally, other major European teams have taken notice of his performances, and in recent weeks, he has been linked to both Arsenal and Chelsea, two London clubs. Chelsea is prepared to spend a lot of money next summer in order to get the defender, who they are really interested in. To persuade Barcelona to let go of the Frenchman, the Blues are willing to make an offer of up to €80 million.
