Chelsea targets a sensational Morgan Rogers deal

According to sources, Chelsea is planning a spectacular summer transfer for Morgan Rogers, an England and Aston Villa player. Rogers has been one of the Premier League's most outstanding players this season, tallying eight goals and eight assists. The 22-year-old contributed two assists and four goals, including a hat-trick against Celtic, during Villa's journey to the Champions League quarterfinals. When Rogers was let go by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in 2023, he may have been worried about the worst, but he turned his career around with Middlesbrough in the Championship.

Rogers was brought to Aston Villa for £15 million at the beginning of 2024, and his comeback has continued there, earning him a call-up to the England squad. Chelsea has also taken notice of the midfielder's play and has made Rogers a target before the summer transfer market opens. Aston Villa sees the player as a potential star and has no plans to sell him.
