Damion Downs, saved Cologne’s dreams of a fantastic comeback when he came off the bench to score the game's winning goal in the 92nd minute. Within 19 minutes, Union had jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Kevin Volland's penalty and Robin Knoche's thunderous header, which gave the Berliners total command.
