Di Francesco departs from Frosinone just before his relocation to Venezia

Eusebio Di Francesco resigned from his role as head coach of Frosinone in order to take a post with Venezia, a Serie A team that was promoted from Serie B at the end of May. Heartbreakingly, Frosinone was relegated in the last round of the 2023–24 season's matches. Di Francesco was obviously upset after the 1-0 loss to Udinese on May 26 at the end of regulation time.

The 54-year-old just started coaching Frosinone at the start of the 2023–24 campaign, taking over for Fabio Grosso, who had led the squad to promotion the year before. With the newly promoted team, Di Francesco signed a one-year contract with the option to extend for an additional year if Frosinone were to secure a spot in the top flight. That turned out not to be the case, though, and it appears Di Francesco will have another chance in Serie A as he is ready to take on a new assignment.
