Personal terms on a five-year contract have been agreed, making Florian Wirtz the centrepiece of Arne Slot's summer spending spree.
This follows Liverpool's earlier acquisition of Wirtz's Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong for £29 million, who arrived as a direct replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back. The two clubs have now completed a swift double deal.
