French giants take over Başakşehir to win Champions League fixture

PSG star Neymar curled in the first shot against Başakşehir in the 21st minute past the goalkeeper Mert Gunok. And later doubled the lead in the 38th minute by scoring once more. By the time first, the half ended victory seemed farfetched reality for Başakşehir when French star Kylian Mbappe successfully converted a penalty to end at 3-0.

Their thumping did not cease even when they returned after the first half and within minutes Neymar scored once again from outside the box in the 50th minute. Seven minutes later Başakşehir did manage to score once when midfielder Mehmet Topal netted but that was their only goal for the night as PSG dominated the game from start to finish, Mbappe finished their rout by netting the last goal at 62nd minute and they advanced ahead to the round of 16 with 12 points.
