Galatasaray advanced to the 2023–24 Champions League group stages

Galatasaray, Braga, and Young Boys advanced to the 2023–24 Champions League group stages following a thrilling night of second-leg qualifying play-off matches. The lead Galatasaray had taken in Molde a week earlier was quickly extended when Mauro Icardi converted a penalty he had won in the seventh minute to give the hosts some breathing room. With a late second-half goal, Molde had a chance to advance, but Angelino's goal in the 93rd minute gave Turkey's team a 5-3 aggregate victory and guaranteed their advancement.

In the second half, Veton Berisha believed he had tied the game when Eirik Hestad gave Molde hope, but his goal was disallowed for offside. With his goal in stoppage time, former Manchester City left-back Angelino ensured Galatasaray's qualification. Rangers and PSV Eindhoven are locked in a 2-2 battle which will be decided on Wednesday night in the Netherlands.
